A collection of thirty-nine short stories about survival and travels beyond the normal and adventures of the heart.
There are psychiatric hospital patients who form an orchestra, a woman who becomes another person, the woman with a ghost in her throat, the blind cyclist, people who live in war zones and those who cross lines and lives, individuals who journey from normality to extreme alternatives and nevercome back. They travel beyond. They enter wonders and terrors. Their stories
ripple and surge and disturb.
Each story creates its own reality and yet there are shared elements to do with the way we see ourselves and others, the way we become our own stories and invent our own fictions, the way different realities merge and the past and future filter to create where we are in the present and the narratives surrounding us.
