Francis Hayes

Francis Hayes used to work as a lawyer in local government. In 1997 he was offered the opportunity to retire at the age of fifty to help his employer save money. In 2005 he discovered internet writing sites and began to submit short stories and poetry to various groups. He has had work published in anthologies from SlingInk and The Write Idea. When not writing short stories he does glass enamelling, making jewellery and ornaments that he sells in craft fairs in North Yorkshire and County Durham
