Jenny Jack was born and grew up in Scotland, and studied medicine at Edinburgh University. She is currently a specialist registrar in psychiatry, and lives with her partner on a farm in Yorkshire. She is in the first year of the MPhil in Writing at the University of Glamorgan, and is working on a novel.
