Mary Pooley
Mary Pooley is a member of Thames Valley Writers’ Circle and lives in Reading. Until a couple of years ago she considered herself a poet, but, having lost her muse, she turned to writing short stories, which she found great fun. She writes mainly for herself and seems to experiment without knowing that she’s doing it. It’s not unusual for her to wonder, after she has finished a piece of writing, whether it is really a very short, short story or just a glimpse into someone else's life.
