Jackie Spry is a musician who began writing as a means of relaxation from demanding semiquavers. Story writing at the computer keyboard proved just as addictive as sonata playing on the piano's ivories. Jackie has had many short stories published in magazines. In 2004 she was the winner of BBC Radio Stoke's short story competition. She is a part time music lecturer at the University of Salford. Jackie lives in Staffordshire with her husband, Bill, and is a member of Congleton Writers' Forum.
