Root Creations
Leaf is extending the range of services that we offer to writers. Our aim is to help writers produce their own book to a high standard by offering a range of services to guide them through every stage of production.

Critiques and Feedback
In addition to the services offered under the Root Creations banner we have the following services avaliable. They may be particularly suitable for those entering our various competitions.
Short Story Critiquing Service
Have your short story critiqued by our panel of readers and in-house editor for £15.
Short stories up to 6,000 words accepted. A report of two-three A4 pages will be compiled offering an appraisal and suggestions on how to improve the story in several areas, including style, pacing, dialogue, character and theme. Severe and/or repeated typos will be highlighted, but this is not a thorough proofreading service.
If you'd like to have your competition entry critiqued as well as considered for a competition just enclose a SAE and a cheque made payable to Leaf for £15 with your postal entry.
Please include a covering letter with the relevant details.
(Please note that critiques on stories entered into competitions will not be returned until after the competition results have been announced.)

Many writers have asked about a poetry critiquing service after the popularity of the short story critiquing service so we decided to add this to our writers' services.
A panel of readers and our poetry editor will look at your work and give constructive feedback.
The price for this service is £5 per poem or 3 poems for £12. Enclose a cheque made payable to Leaf and a SAE with your poems.
